- Return Window: 15 days from the date you receive your order.
- Condition: Items must be unworn, unaltered, and in their original condition with all tags attached and in the original packaging.
- Initiation: You must contact our customer service team to initiate a return or exchange and receive a Return Authorization (RA) number.
- Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during purchase.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.
Step-by-Step Return & Exchange Process
Step 1: Review & Contact Us (Within 15 Days of Delivery)
Please review your item upon arrival. If you wish to return or exchange it, please contact our dedicated customer service team within 15 days of the delivery date. You can reach us at [email protected].
In your email, please include your order number and the reason for the return or exchange. To expedite the process, you may use the template provided below.
Step 2: Receive Your Return Authorization (RA) Number & Instructions
Our team will review your request and, if it meets our policy guidelines, will email you a unique Return Authorization (RA) Number and detailed instructions on where to send the package. Returns sent without an RA number cannot be processed.
Step 3: Package and Ship Your Return
Please securely package the item in its original packaging, including all tags and any protective bags. Enclose a copy of your original packing slip or a note with your Order Number and RA Number inside the package.
Ship the package to the address provided in your instructions. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service, as SIMPLY DRESS SALE is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit back to us.
Step 4: Our Inspection & Your Refund/Exchange
Once we receive your return, our quality team will inspect it within 3-5 business days to ensure it meets our return conditions.
- For Returns: Upon approval, your refund will be processed.
- For Exchanges: We will process the shipment of your requested replacement item, subject to availability. If your desired size/color is out of stock, we will contact you to discuss alternatives or issue a refund.

Your satisfaction is our celebration. Once your return is approved:
- Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after our inspection team approves the return.
- Refund Method: The refund will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal).
- Appearance on Your Statement: Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account. PayPal refunds are typically faster.

Important Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items
To ensure the integrity and hygiene of our special occasion dresses, the following are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Altered or Customized Dresses: Any dress that has been altered, tailored, or customized to specific measurements cannot be returned.
- Worn or Damaged Items: Dresses showing signs of wear, perfume, makeup, or damage (beyond manufacturing defects) are not acceptable.
- Final Sale Items: Any item explicitly marked as “Final Sale” at the time of purchase is non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
- Intimate Apparel: For hygiene reasons, any worn or tried-on intimate apparel (e.g., slips) that was sold separately is non-returnable.
If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at [email protected], and we will gladly arrange a prepaid return label and expedite a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
International Returns
As a global store serving a worldwide community (with some delivery restrictions), customers returning items from outside the United States are responsible for all return shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes. We cannot mark return packages as “gifts” or declare a lower value. Refunds will be issued in USD to the original payment method.
